Constructed Scripts

If you have known me any length of time, then you will know that I love languages, both natural and constructed languages. Well, let me introduce you to Con-Scripts; or constructed scripts/alphabets.  This script is read from top to bottom and left to right. Thoughts on money.

What would you define money as?  I would say money is a "medium we use for the exchange of goods and services." But what makes money valuable? In all honesty, money only holds value because it is: 1) Printed by a government. 2) Assumed to have or hold value. 3) Lack of education of what money is. These three things lead to a complete ignorance of money. Sorry to sound so harsh but that is the sad reality. For millennia gold and silver have been the coinage used or the backing of paper currency. Today our money is not backed by anything except the " full faith and credit of the United States. " Hmm... scary huh? We are blindly trusting the government to supply us with the money we use and many people assume it is still backed by gold in Fort Knox. The truth is that, although there is gold in Fort Knox, it is no longer backing our money.  What we call money today is known as: Fiat Currency .  The short of it is that fiat money is simply gove...

New Car

So 2 weeks ago my Kia Sportage started making this "knocking" sound. Mechanic says it is a rod knocking and the best course of action is to replace the engine. Well, I don't enough money to buy an engine and pay for labor to have it changed out, so I did the next best thing. I went out and bought another vehicle. The downpayment was well within my budget and the monthly payments are also easy on the wallet. So as of yesterday, our family is the owner of a 2014 Jeep Compass.
